Despite knowing its importance, most people struggle with how to communicate in a persuasive way and end up with boring power point slides and facts. So how do you inspire and connect? The simple answer is storytelling…more importantly, telling a compelling story!

Every department can benefit from better persuasion skills, but storytelling is particularly valuable for sales, customer service and business development teams. The Creative Experience’s storytelling training can be customised to a half day, full day or two day corporate training session.

Training Objectives

  • Understand what storytelling is and how it can be leveraged in the sales process
  • Learn the tools and techniques of telling purposeful stories and how to avoid common storytelling pitfalls
  • Apply storytelling technique in real world sales scenarios with active attendee participation
  • Practice creating, developing and delivering compelling stories
  • Perform a three minute pitch with feedback from trainer and peers

In this training session, we use video clips, movies and short films as the foundation for how to create an emotional – and authentic – connection with your clients. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of how to persuade clients to support your intended call to action.

Storytelling Discovery Process | The Creative Experience


Using storytelling discovery process in three acts, we will share how to set three stages:

Act 1: The Beginning / Set Up: Hook your Audience with Emotion
Act 2: The Middle / Climax: Gain the Biggest Impact
Act 3: The Resolution / Conclusion: Satisfy with a Happy Ending


With the newfound storytelling confidence, sales professionals will be ready to increase new sales and improve existing customer relationships. Purposeful storytelling will help meet sales goals and deliver real results.

Business Acting: Harnessing the Power of Theatre to Strengthen Storytelling Skills

This add-on component instils confidence in the participants’ presentation skill by leveraging a number of drama techniques and tools. The methodology comes from our trainer’s 20 years of working in theatre, where he taught students of all ages how to develop a connection with the audience and be seen as authentic. He has translated these lessons into corporate training that teaches executives what acting techniques can work for them and how to incorporate the techniques into presentations and meetings. He focuses on helping each individual develop his/her unique delivery style.
